MEET DEKEN LETINICH

A champion for Southwest Washington.

Deken Letinich is a champion for Southwest Washington's working families, with deep roots in the community spanning three generations in Clark County. He understands that investing in workers and working families benefits everyone.

For years, Deken has fought on behalf of Southwest Washington workers, finding his calling as a dedicated union advocate. His commitment was recognized in 2018 when he was named Southwest Washington's Labor Council Union Member of the Year. In 2024, he successfully fought for increased workplace safety and better access to healthcare products on worksites for working families. In 2025, Deken joined the Columbia River Mental Health Board.

Deken believes that effective representation in the State Capitol, like any jobsite, requires teamwork. In an era of political divisiveness, Deken is committed to working collaboratively with both Democrats and Republicans to deliver real results for Southwest Washington.

As State Representative, Deken will prioritize making Southwest Washington more affordable for workers and working families. Like his neighbors, Deken wants to keep our neighborhoods safe. He recognizes the clear need for necessary and appropriate funding for our police, firefighters, and emergency medical professionals to protect our children and families.

Deken is proud to have been raised in a union family and to have raised his own family in Southwest Washington.
